Special Education Family Educator
Partnership Committee (SEFEP)

The SEFEP committee was initiated by Barbara O'Rorke, Executive
Director of Special Education, for the purpose of attending to the diverse
needs of families
with children who receive special education services within the Tacoma Public
Schools. Membership is comprised of parents of children with disabilities,
Pierce Countyagency representatives and Tacoma School District Special Education
personnel.
Mission of SEFEP: To promote connections among students, families, educators
and the community with information, resources and supports in order to ensure
quality inclusive education for all students.
